The US Justice Department announced that the 2.3 million dollar ransom that was paid to DarkSide by Colonial Pipeline has been recovered. No word on how the bitcoin private key was obtained. One must wonder, if the private key was obtained from DarkSide, what other information was obtained? What caused DarkSide to dissolve? What sent them scattering?
