CyberSecurityRecap: Oracle, Yet Another Patch

Hot on the heels of a major security release, Oracle is once again giving DBA’s some extra work.

Homeland Security has released a security alert indicating that Oracle has dealt with a vulnerability in WebLogic. That vulnerability could allow a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code.

A patch is available from Oracle. That patch should be applied as soon as possible as remote attackers have proved to be capable of reverse engineering vendor patches and attacking systems prior to administrator’s patching cycles.
